A gunfight broke out between militants and the security forces in Lelhar area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday, police said.
A police spokesman said the gunfight broke out in Lelhar area after the police and security forces launched a cordon and search operation there.
This is the second gunfight in the district today.
Earlier, three militants were killed in a brief gunfight in the Tral area of the district.
