Former deputy speaker of the Legislative Assembly and senior National Conference leader Nazir Ahmed Gurezi on Monday urged Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik to implement the directions of the Supreme Court regarding reservation for SC/ST categories vis-à-vis their promotions in the state.
In a statement issued here Gurezi said the directions of the Apex Court have been implemented in other states in letter and spirit. “Unfortunately in J&K these are still in limbo,” Gurezi added.
