Gusty winds coupled with heavy rains uprooted trees in Charar-i-Sharief area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday.
An eye witness said the windstorm uprooted several trees near Kralpora on Chadoora-Srinagar road area resulting in massive traffic snarl in the area.
Locals cleared the fallen trees to pave way for traffic movement on the road.
In another incident at Wathora area of the district, a tree fell on a car, however, no loss of life was reported.
