Severe downpour and hailstorm damaged crops in Haripora village of Kawarhama tehsil here on Monday.
Locals said considerable damage was caused to cherry, apple,apricot orchards and vegetable beds in the village.
Tehsildar, Kawarhama Tariq Ahmad expressed concern over thedamage of crops and assured the people that a survey will be carried out soonto assess the extent of damage.
