Hajin shuts on fifth straight day to mourn militant killings

A complete shutdown is being observed in Hajin town of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on fifth straight day to mourn the killings of teenage militants.

All shops and other business establishments remained closed while traffic was off roads.

   

Teenage militants, Mudasir Parrey and Saqib Bilal, were killed in a gunfight with the government forces in Mujgund on the outskirts of Srinagar on Sunday.

Senior Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Shah Geelani addressed a gathering of mourners at Mudasir’s home over the phone, said a witness.
