The first phase of Hajj orientation training programme was held here today at Masjid Baitul- Mukarram Baramulla. All the selected Hajj Pilgrims from Baramulla, URI, Boniyar, Wagoora, Dangiwacha and Rohama tehsils attended the training programme.
Theparticipants on the occasion were imparted necessary training about Manasik-e-Hajj in presence of Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo and AdditionalDeputy Commissioner Baramulla Muhammad Ahsan Mir.
Speakingon the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner congratulated the Hajj Pilgrims andwished them best for their journey. He hoped that the training programme willbe beneficial for the Hajj pilgrims and they will feel no inconvenience duringHajj period. He asked participants to take advantage of the training programme.
Meanwhile,the State Hajj Committee J&K in collaboration with the Hajj Committee ofIndia and the district administration Kargil conducted 1st phase of practicaltraining cum orientation programme for the selected Hajj pilgrims of districtKargil at Conference Hall Baroo here today.
As manyas 80 prospective pilgrims of the district were imparted training for thisyear’s pilgrimage by the representatives of the State Hajj Committee and HajjCommittee of India.
