Hakeem Yaseen condemns HRD ministry for withdrawing Kashmiri language from portal

Chairman PDF Hakeem Yaseen has condemned the decision of the Union Human Resource Development Ministry  to withdraw Kashmiri translations from its language promotion portal “Bhasha Sangam” adding that the move has hurt the sentiments of all Kashmiris.

In a statement Hakeem Yaseen said, “Kashmiri culture and language is dearer to the majority of the people of the state adding that the decision of the HRD ministry to withdraw Kashmiri language from the Bhasha Sangam unilaterally was most shocking and deplorable.”

He said HRD ministry should have not acted on the presumptions of a handful of communal minded Kashmiri Pandits whose only motto has been to play with the sentiments of the common Kashmiri people on one pretext or the other and create mistrust among the people of the country against majority population of the state on communal lines.
