J&K High Court Bar Association Srinagar has strongly condemned the use of brute force by Army, CRPF and JK Police in killing more than 37 unarmed civilians and injuring about 1500 of them in different parts of Kashmir during the past few days of umbrage.

The association has expressed concern over use of pellet guns which have injured more than 200 persons and are about to lose their eyesight forever.

In a statement here a HCBA spokesman termed the killing of innocent civilians a systemic genocide of Kashmiri Muslims.

"The use of pellet guns as a weapon of offence for inflicting a severe kind of injury of perpetual nature on hapless people, most of whom are teenage boys to render them permanently disabled," the spokesman added.
