High-speed Internet restored in Budgam after three days

High speed internet has been restored in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday after two days of suspension. 

The high speed internet was suspended on Sunday morning following scuffle between two groups over management of a mosque in Magam town.

   

Earlier DC Budgam, Syed Sehrish told Greater Kashmir that there was an apprehension of disturbance of peace in the district.

She said there are two, three issues due to which Internet speed was reduced, one of the issues was Magam scuffle. 

Meanwhile, Normal life resumed on Tuesday in Magam township of the district Budgam after two days of restriction. 

Authorities imposed restrictions under section 144 CrPC in the township.
