Independent candidate from Anantnag parliamentary constituency Dr Ridwana Sanam has said that government’s move to ban the civilian traffic on Srinagar-Jammu national highway on Sunday and Wednesday is direct attack on the economy and politics of the state.
Dr Ridwana while addressing people at various places insouth Kashmir said that the order has badly affected the businessestablishments in the Valley. “The highway gag gives an impression that Kashmiris a military zone which has drastically affected the inflow of the touristsand has affected the economy of the state,” she said.
“Muscular approach of the government is also affecting thepoll campaign of the election candidates and is creating hindrances to reachout to the people and vice versa,” she added.
