Within a few hours after restoration of postpaid mobile services in Kashmir, Airtel subscribers complained that the cellular company discontinued services within a few hours.
Greater Kashmir received many calls from Airtel subscribers complaining of receiving "No signal" in their handsets.
"The mobile service of postpaid was resumed past mid-night. However, after a few hours there is no signal on our mobile phones. To make calls, we have to use the numbers of our friends having postpaid numbers of other private companies," they said.
Another subscriber having number 9797000778 said that while the service was resumed after mid-night the signals went off in the afternoon.
One of the tele-executives of Airtel told Greater Kashmir that it was due to some technical snag. "We are looking into it and the problem will be fixed within four hours," he said.
