Hurriyat (M), AAC remember Tariq Buch

Hurriyat Conference (M) and Awami Action Committee (AAC) Monday paid rich tributes to late Tariq Ahmed Buch on his first death anniversary. Buch was uncle and private secretary to chairman of the amalgam Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.

Recalling his association with Hurriyat (M) and AAC, spokesmen of both the parties in a joint statement said that he was greatly committed to his work and his death has been a loss to both the organisations and to the chairman personally.

“Late Tariq was the son of Khawja Ghulam Hassan Buch, who was also a close aide of Muhajir-e-milat and Mufasir-e-Quran, Moulana Muhammad Yosuf Shah (RA), who remained in the forefront of spreading the message of the then Muslim Conference to nook and corner of Kashmir,” the statement said.

Meanwhile, Hurriyat (M) spokesman expressed  grief over the death of seven tourists and injuries to over 50 people in an incident at tourist resort of Sayar Baba waterfall and expressed solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved families. The incident happened due to the sudden fall of a big rock on the tourists who were having bath under the waterfall on Sunday.
