Additional Deputy Commissioner Awantipora, Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, today convened a meeting to review the preparation of arrangements for upcoming Independence Day and Eid u Zuha Celebrations in Awantipora.
The meeting was informed that main function of theIndependence Day would be held at Police Lines Awantipora where National Flagwill be unfurled, followed by march past comprising the contingents of BSF,CRPF, JKP, JKAP, Fire & Emergency Services and students.
The ADC directed the officials to ensure the requisitearrangements including seating arrangements, barricading of venue, medical aidcamp, availability of ambulance, deployment of fire tenders at main venue. Healso directed concerned officers to ensure uninterrupted power supply, drinkingwater/tanker and sanitation measures at Eid Gahs.ADC stressed for regular market checking tocheck the rates of essential commodities and sacrificial animals.
