IED planted in water pipe recovered in Pulwama, defused

Government forces on Friday recovered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in south Kashmir's Pulwama district.

A joint patrolling party of army and the CRPF recovered a five-kg IED planted in a water pipe on the roadside in Nikas village of the district, said a police officer. 

He said the IED was later defused by a bomb disposal squad.
