On basis of qualifying the prescribed “pre-promotion course” (Intermediate Class), Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir, Vijay Kumar on Thursday promoted 549 head constables (HCs) of executive police having seniority to the rank of assistant sub inspectors (ASIs).
The IGP felicitated the promoted officers and their familiesand expressed hope they will strive to work hard for interests of generalpublic for maintenance of peace in J&K.
