Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani has expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health condition of Peer Saifullah, who is lodged at Police Station Humhama for the past 36 days.

"Peer Saifullah had undergone tumour operation last year and every month he has to visit the Apollo hospital in New Delhi for a checkup. After his condition deteriorated yesterday he was taken to Budgam hospital for check up by the Police. The doctors advised him to visit Apollo hospital immediately," Geelani told Greater Kashmir over phone.

He said the family members of Saifullah are worried about his well being and have expressed apprehensions about his falling health.
