Incessant rains lashed the Kashmir valley on Sunday, resulting into water-logging in various areas of Srinagar, including the commercial hub Lal Chowk.
Talking to KNS, an official in the Meteorological department (MeT) said that the rains would continue in most places of the Valley till today evening while there would be considerable improvement in weather conditions from Monday morning.
He said that there is not any possibility of heavy rains. "Light to moderate rains would continue till this evening across the Valley," he said.
The incessant rains since early today caused water logging in several city areas.
The various areas in Srinagar including business hub Lal Chowk, Jawahar Nagar, Rambagh, Raj Bagh, Khanyar, Habba Kadal, Nowpora, Bemina, Noorbagh and others were inundated.
