Reacting to the RSS chief Mohan Baghat's statement, Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (R) chief patron Barrister Abdul Majid Trambu, terming it far from reality.
"Indian politicians are keeping their people in dark and never tell them the reality about Kashmir issue. They should understand the difference between the status of Jammu and Kashmir and other states of India. Other states have decided their political future and people of Jammu and Kashmir are yet to decide their political destiny for which the UNO stands a guarantee and more than 18 resolutions have been passed," a spokesman of the Front, in a statement today, said. Expressing resentment over the Baghat's statement, Trambu said, "They cannot dampen our spirits by suppressive and arbitrary measures. We challenge Mohan Bhagwat and Indian politicians that if they are confident that people of state want to be with India, they should ascertain the wish and will of people without any further delay."
He lashed out at state police for 'unleashing terror' against peaceful citizens, saying "The police used brute force during night raids at Narbal Sozeth and other places in state."
