Locals alleged forces personnel damaged shops in the area after clashes.
“They without any provocation broke window panes and smashed items in the shops,” said a shopkeeper at Hajin.
Later, locals held a protest against forces action and demanded punishment to the guilty involved in it.
A senior police official from the district said: “the situation was brought under control soon after the forces patrol was attacked with stones”.
He refuted allegations about forces damaging shops in the area.
