Relocate CRPF camp

We the residents of Ellahibagh Hafizbagh Sgr are facing immense problems due to presence of the CRPF camp in our area for the past two decades. Everyday stone pelting incidents take place in our area. This leads to CRPF personnel retaliating. Windowpanes of almost all the houses in our area have been damaged.  It has become unsafe for our children, women and elderly even inside the homes. We appeal the concerned authorities  to relocate the CRPF camp from Ellahibagh to some appropriate location where safety of public won’t be compromised with.

Senior citizen appeals to Finance Minister

All the state government employees in Jammu and Kashmir including the pensioners have appreciated the move of the state government to implement the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission.

I want to draw the kind attention of the Finance Minister towards the onetime payment of the arrears to the pensioners aged 90 or above who are mostly ailing and bed ridden. So it will be a great favour to them if their arrears are released in one installment against three keeping in view their deteriorating health and other day to day needs.

Switch off your mobiles in Masjids

It is astounding that people while attending the congregational prayers in Masjids forget to switch off their cell phones. At times half a dozen mobile phones started ringing during the collective prayers.  People should ensure that they switch off their mobiles or put them on silent mode before entering a Masjid to offer congregational prayers.

Indira Nagar residents appeal to CE PDD

We the inmates of House nos.574,575 &576 of Indra Nagar, Srinagar have been facing immense hardships during the past two years as the electric distribution line passing over our gates often falls during night or early morning hours as it is immensely worn out.

As the month of Ramadan has started we have to move out for Tarwih prayers but we feel scared to venture out of our houses fearing that electric wires may fall upon us.

Despite repeated reminders PDD men have failed to replace the worn out line. We appeal the Chief Engineer Power Development Department (PDD) to get this worn out line replaced before any tragedy strikes.
