IS ANYBODY LISTENING ?

One doctor runs CHC Rajpora

We the residents of Rajpora Pulwama want to bring it into the notice of the concerned authorities that there is only one doctor available at community health centre (CHC) Rajpora. We request the Block Medical Officer to at least post two more doctors, including a pediatrician, at the CHC Rajpora so that patients don’t suffer.

Save our careers

We the students of three-year diploma course in office management and computer applications urge the Governor Satya Pal Malik to intervene and save our careers. Not only us but all those who have passed out from Government Polytechnic for Women Bemina are facing immense problems. Neither the University of Kashmir nor the Service Selection Board recognize our three year course for jobs.

Kanlibagh residents decry official apathy

We the residents of Ibrahim colony Kanlibagh Baramulla living in vicinity of ZEO office Kanlibagh

are living a miserable life. We are just one and a half km away from main market but the road leading to our area is in shambles. It’s dotted with potholes and ditches.

We had filed a complaint no.999000956315 at Governor’s Grievance cell. It took two and half months for Chief Engineer R&B to respond. He told us in clear terms that there are no funds and the repair work cannot be taken up till the department gets the funds.

We had also approached Deputy Commissioner Baramulla but nothing has been done till date.

Show some respect towards old people

On 1st Feb 2019, I along with few others happened to take a journey through a reputed airline company from Jammu to Srinagar. The flight was scheduled at 10.40 am but it was late by an hour time due to inclement weather. Services rendered by the staff of the airline company were below par.  A couple aged over 70 years was told by the airline staffers to pay the Rs1600 as carriage charges for extra baggage of 4 KGs. The aged couple pleaded with all humility not to charge them the extra money as they had no money to pay as had gone dry due to overstay at Jammu due to non-availability of air and road services  from Jammu to Srinagar. But the staffers did not oblige the senior citizens.

Passengers, who were scheduled to board the aircraft were asked to go to Gate 5 (1st floor) after waiting there,  we were directed to move to Gate 1 ( Ground floor) and passengers rushed there but immediately announcement was made that passengers should board the aircraft through Gate 4 first floor  in the process the passenger s were put to lot of inconvenience . I hope concerned  authorities would take a note and set the things right.

Pulwama village sans basic amenities

We the residents of Braw Bandina, a far flung hamlet in Pulwama district tehsil Shahoora Litter, are living a miserable life. It sounds strange but it’s true that that we have still not seen the vehicular movement through our village. Transport is a faraway thing. Our village has no government school even.

Ailing patients and elderly people have to foot a distance of 5 km to reach a nearby health centre. Authorities are aware about the problems being faced by us but they have turned a blind eye towards our sufferings.  We urge the J&K Governor Satya Pal Malik to intervene and connect us with the real world.
