Beerwah-Budgam road in shambles

Beerwah-Budgam road is in drastic conditions having deep patches and less widthfor the past many years. People residing  around this road are suffering from many problems like chest diseases due to heavy dust and smoke particles, traffic jam and unavailability of transportation as transporters don't want to run their vehicles on this road to avoid depreciation.

Maximum damage to the road has been caused due to  improper drainage system and lack of coordination between among the government departments.R &B division Budgam had invited tender to repair  Beerwah-Budgam road exactly seven months ago when ex-CM and MLA Beerwah Omar Abdullah announced Rs 24 Crore from to get this road repaired. Till date work on this vital road has not started and it seems that concerned authorities are in hibernation. We request the concerned ministry to look into the matter and get this road repaired at the earliest.
