Lift ban on

 pre-paid internet services

This refers to the ban on pre-paid Internet services imposed by the government in July last year. Despite situation improving in Kashmir government has not lifted the ban on internet services. We urge the JK government to lift the ban at the earliest so that Kashmiri people also come to know what "Digital India" is all about. Post paid users are using their internet services but we prepaid users are still waiting for services to be restored.

Govt exploiting jobless youth

We the newly recruited employees of Hospitality and Protocol department were recruited under new recruitment policy SRO 202 of 2015. It is total injustice with us that we are posted 1000 kilometers away from Kashmir in New Delhi. Besides positing us far away from Kashmir our monthly salary has been fixed as Rs 7000/ per month for the first five years without having any increments. We believe its sheer exploitation of highly qualified and unemployed youth of JK. It is very difficult for us to survive in a metropolitan city like New Delhi with mere Rs 7000/ as salary. We request PDP-BJP Govt to revoke new recruitment policy SRO 202 of 2015 in the state. It is hard for the new recruits to start their career on peanuts .

Stop water pilferage

We the residents of Takanwari pora Mohallah Bonapora Irfanabad Srinagar are facing acute shortage of drinking water from past many years. Although the supply was restored earlier but the most inhabitants have taken the connections from main pipe and have also installed motors directly with main pipe which leads to the shortage of water.  We request the authorities to wake up from deep slumber and stop pilferage of drinking water so that water reaches everywhere.

Issue Aadhaar cards

We the inhabitants of Shah Faisal Colony, Upper Soura Srinagar have approached the authorities on numerous occasions to seek issuance of Aadhaar cards but to no avail. Till date only 2 percent of people have received their Aadhaar cards others have been deprived of it. We request the government to restart the process to issue Aaadhar cards as these are becoming mandatory with each passing day.
