PDP leader Ab. Qayoom Wani has expressed serious concern on SAC decision to disburse honorarium of Aanganwari workers and helpers through Gram panchayat.
Wani said that this anti-employee decision can pave way for corruptionand harassment of these female workers and helpers.
Wani said: “Linking the salary of employees to thecertification of Gram panchayat is gross violation of employee rights and thiswill prove disastrous for this child welfare scheme.”
Wani demanded immediate withdrawal of this order to avoidchaos and confusion among Aanganwari workers and helpers. He assured Aanganwari workers and their unionsfor full support from Peoples Democratic Party for restoration of their genuinerights.
