Jama’at-e-Islami condemns thrashing of Kashmiri students

Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir has condemned the thrashing of Kashmir students outside the state.

“Some hooligans belonging to the fascist organizations have physically assaulted some Kashmiri students at Mahindergarh who are studying in Central University of Haryana, only for their being Kashmiris so as to force them to leave their studies unfinished. This biased attitude is being observed throughout the Indian states particularly those ruled by the communalist organizations who are not even ready to tolerate their co-religionists,” said Jama’at chief spokesperson advocate Zahid Ali.

“Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir denounces the inhuman treatment of Kashmiri innocent students in Haryana by the unruly goons let loose by the BJP establishment throughout their domain and asks the international community to raise their voice against this communal hatred and bias against Kashmiri Muslim students outside,” the spokesperson added.

Meanwhile, Tehreek-e-Muzahamat general secretary Muhammad Saleem Zargar has condemning the attack on Kashmiri students. “Such acts reflect bankrupt mindset of communal forces,” he said.
