Jama’at for international probe into Kulgam incident

Jama’at-e-Islami (JeI) Jammu Kashmir today demanded impartial probe into the blast that occurred on Sunday at Larnoo, Kulgam, killing seven persons and injuring several others by some international agency to unveil the truth about this gory incident.

“A high level delegation of Jama’at-e-Islami (JeI) Jammu and Kashmir led by its political bureau head advocate Zahid Ali today visited the families of those who lost their beloved ones in recent Laroo, Kulgam, incident.  The members on the occasion paid glowing tributes to the slain youth  and expressed solidarity with the bereaved,” a Jamaat spokesman said.

   

He said, “Jamaat demands an impartial probe by some international reputed agency to unveil the designs of forces personnel involved in the act.” 

“Jama’at visited Rishipora, Laroo, Makhanpora, Shurat, Bogund, Hawoora, Awhatoo, Wangam and Arwani and condemned the mass killings of Kashmiris by the forces. Kashmiris since decades are demanding their birth right, right to self determination peacefully but Delhi unfortunately is using all its might to suppress the people,” the spokesman said. 

“The version stated by police regarding Kulgam post-operation blast has been vehemently refuted by local population and termed the incident a well planned. According to local population, when they reached the spot the gunfight had ended, people were searching for bodies from the debris in the premises and meanwhile a big blast happened that snatched the lives of several innocent youth and left dozens injured,” the spokesman added.
