Jama’at members visit hospitals, meet injured
Various high level delegations of Jama'at-e-Islami (JeI) Jammu and Kashmir today visited different hospitals of Srinagar and met the injured persons and their attendants there, expressing solidarity and sympathy with them, a Jamaat spokesman advocate Zahid Ali, said in a statement.
"The delegations enquired about the health conditions of the injured persons and their necessary requirements. They assured them of all possible assistance," he , said, adding that "District Jama'at Srinagar has already provided assistance in the form of cash, drugs, eatables, clothes, etc., to the needy and this process will continue."
"On observing the conditions of the injured, it is evident that forces have crossed all limits of cruelty and high handedness and also trampled down all moral and human values while dealing with the peaceful protestors. The indiscriminate firing and shelling by pellet guns and throwing tear gas shells have been such intense as is seen during the full-fledged war," the spokesman said.
