Jamat-e-Islami member Sheikh Mohammad Ramzan from Rampora Qaimoh in district Kulgam has again been booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) and shifted to Kotbalwal jail.
Sheikh as per family was first booked under PSA in 2016 andlodged in Kathua jail. He was releasedin May last year few days before the wedding of his daughter.
Sheikh was again arrested in August, booked under PSA andshifted to Kathua jail.
“His PSA was quashed early this year and since then he wasfirst lodged in district jail Mattan Anantnag and later police station Qaimoh,”the family said.
On Wednesday he was again booked and shifted to Kotbalwaljail.
Meanwhile, Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Tehsil president AnantnagAshiq Hussain Narchoor was shifted to Karnal Jail Haryana from Hiranagar Jail Jammu.Narchoor was arrested in September last year.
