One more person from Jawbara in Awantipora was today tested positive of COVID-19, taking the total number of positive cases to 10 in the district, officials said.
A total number of 13positive cases has been detected in the district so far with 3 recovered cases.
After the initial work up it has been found that thepositive case has a family contact and aggressive contact tracing of familymembers and relatives has been initiated.
Meanwhile, authorities declared a part of Jawbara whichincludes the area from Syed Hasan Mantaqi shrine Awantipora to Victor Forcecrossing as Red zone. Awantipora and Barsoo has been declared as buffer zone.
