JCCI hailed for opposing communal forces

Kashmir Centre for Social and Development Studies (KCSDS) has hailed the stand taken by Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry vis-a-vis attacks on Kashmiri truckers and efforts of communal forces to get Article 35A of Constitution of India abrogated thereby creating holes in the state subject law and other associated Acts which restrict the land owning rights and jobs to the permanent residents only.

Kashmir Centre for Social and Development Studies (KCSDS) has hailed the stand taken by Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry vis-a-vis attacks on Kashmiri truckers and efforts of communal forces to get Article 35A of Constitution of India abrogated thereby creating holes in the state subject law and other associated Acts which restrict the land owning rights and jobs to the permanent residents only.

"It is encouraging that the saner elements in Jammu have seen through the conspiracies of communal fascist forces to weaken the state and dent its specific laws to change not only  its demography but rob the people in general of their exclusive rights bestowed to them due to distinctive nature of our state," KCSDS said in a statement today, and sought support Jammu civil society in fighting together the onslaught of fascist forces that are hell-bent on destroying the fabric of peaceful co-existence and state subject laws.
