J&K Shia association organises Quran Khawani programmes across Valley

Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association observed several Quran Khawanis,  congregational Fateha Khawanis and Majlis Hussain (AS) across the Valley to mark 4th death anniversary of late Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari on Sunday.

People from all walks of life including aged and children assembled  at  the shrine of Grand Mulla Fazal Ali Ansari (RA), Shrine Baba Mazar Zadibal, where the late Ansari had been laid to rest. 

Glowing tributes were paid to late Ansari at these meetings including at a daylong Majlis held at Imambara Zadibal which was attended by thousands of people. 

The majlis was started with recitation of verses of holy Quran fallowed by marsiya recited by prominent Zakirs.

The Majlis was addressed by Moulana Syed Qalbi Rushaid Rizvi who recited verses from the Holy Quran and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.

Later Molvi Imran Raza Ansari thanked people who participated in the Quan Khawanis and Majlis. He expressed gratitude to JK Shia Association Units who organized Majlis and Quran Khawanis at several places and also to JK Youth Association.

Late Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari was born in Khanqah-e-Sokhta Nawakadal in a religious and influential Ansari family. 

He was a scholar, orator and a leader. 

He passed away on 30 October 2014, at his residence Dar-ul-Jawad Qamariwari Srinagar and was laid to rest at their ancestral graveyard Baba Mazar Zadibal in the shrine of Grand Mulla Fazal Ali Ansari (RA).
