Srinagar, Oct 19 : Jammu & Kashmir Institute of Mathematical Sciences (JKIMS) organised a two-day national level conference on “Analysis and Discrete” from 17-18 October at Amar Singh College Srinagar campus.
Prof. Tariq Ahmad Shikari, Director JKIMS, welcomed the dignitaries. Prof. Dinesh Singh (Padma Shree Awardee, former Vice Chancellor, Delhi University, currently Vice Chairperson, JK Higher Education Council) was the chief guest at the inaugural session. He also delivered a noteworthy keynote address.
Prof. Bashir Ahmad Rather, Principal A. S. College Srinagar, who was the guest of honor at the inaugural session, appreciated the efforts of JKIMS in popularizing mathematics among the masses.
