Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) today paid rich tributes to slain militant commander Shariq Ahmad Bakhshi on his anniversary.
“Shariq Bakhshi was one of the brave sons of soil who laid down his life at a tender age for the Kashmir cause. He belonged to a family that has rendered valuable sacrifices for the Kashmir movement and thus he inherited braveness from his mother’s lap,” a JKLF spokesman said in a statement.
“JKLF leaders and activists including vice-chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakshi, general secretary engineer Ghulam Rasool Dar Eidi, Muhammad Sideeq Shah along with Ghulam Ahmad Bakhshi, father of late Shariq, participated in a condolence meeting at Barzalla Martyrs’ graveyard,” the spokesman said.
