Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) today condemned the house detention of its chairman Zaffar Akbar Bhat, terming it a ‘coercive and undemocratic’ step by the government.
“We also condemn the fresh arrest spree launched across Kashmir,” a JKSM spokesman said in a statement.
“Whenever elections are held in Kashmir, it brings endless miseries and suffering for the common people,” he added.
