JKYT distributes food kits

Jammu and Kashmir Yateem Trust (JKYT) today distributed food kits among 170 widow headed families at its sub office at Gopalpora Chadoora

“Food kits worth Rs 4,25,000 were distributed among 170 widow headed families. The aim of this distribution was to help these families to celebrate the holy month of Ramadhan with zeal and comfort and to enable them to keep fasts,” JKYT spokesperson said in a statement.   

   

The function was presided over by the patron of the Trust, Z A Tak. In his address, he impressed up on the widows to educate their children for which he assured them full support of the Trust.
