Jammu and Kashmir National Conference senior leader constituency in -charge, former MLA Karnah Kafeer Ur Rehman on Tuesday urged the central government to meet the genuine demand of having a tunnel at Sadna Top, saying the tunnel will usher in a new era of development in the area.
Kafeer Ur Rehman hailed the party leadership for making it a point to raise the demand of Sadna Top Tunnel. While appreciating the party leadership for pitching for all weather connectivity to the area Kafeer Ur Rehman said, “The other day the party leadership had visited the Valley. The assurances of the party leaders have invigorated passion in the party workers of Karnah and Tangdhar. I personally thank the party leadership for making it to the constituency at my humble call. I am equally thankful to the workers and party functionaries for making the convention successful. At this hour we should abjure complacency and increase our public contact with the people. The remote areas of Karnah had completely fallen off from the development radar of the former BJP-PDP coalition. The incumbent governor administration is no better in terms of meeting the development expectations of the people living in Gurez, Tangdar, Karnah and Uri. I am sure new government under the leadership of Omar sahib will unleash a new era of development in the area.”
