A man was critically injured on Sunday after a wild bear attacked him in Kangan area of Ganderbal district in central Kashmir.
The injured man was identified as Nazir Ahmad Gojar (38) sonof Abdul Rashid Gojar of Hayan village.
An official said that Gojar was attacked when he was grazinghis cattle in the nearby Sindh range forest area.
He said that Nazir was rescued by locals and shifted to subdistrict hospital Kangan.
A health official at sub district hospital Kangan said Gojarhas suffered “critical injuries” in the attack.
