An employee of a construction company was injured on Thursday after a landslide hit the Z-Morh tunnel in Sonamarg area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
The employee, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Kangan Omar Shah, was identified as Dharam Prakash Singh, a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
Reports said that Singh was injured after debris fell on him while he was inspecting the tunnel site area at Shutkady Sonamarg.
“The injured employee was hospitalized and is stable now,” said Shah.
