President of Awami Ithad Party and former MLA Er Rasheed has urged law enforcing agencies and civil administration to ensure protection to all sections of people in Jammu without being biased.
In a statement Er Rasheed said that “nobody is celebrating killing of CRPF men in Pulwama attack and no one other than Kashmiris can feel the pain of bereaved families better than them, as we have been passing through this turmoil since pain for the past thirty years. But nothing lies in hands of Kashmiris and neither their words nor condemnations mean anything to those who matter and who can bring peace in the entire region including Jammu & Kashmir.”
“Giving the incident a communal colour and using it as an excuse to create communal tension in Jammu city is condemnable and unacceptable. How can dozens of vehicles be damaged and set to fire in presence of law enforcing agencies at various places in Jammu city and why is not Jammu administration doing enough to ensure that law and order is maintained in the entire city,” he asked.
Er Rasheed urged all sides to maintain calm and peace and not to target stranded Kashmiris for none of their fault.
