Scores of specially-abled persons on Thursday held a protest rally in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district against the Kathua rape-and-murder.
The protesters demanded death to the guilty in the horrifying gangrape and subsequent murder of an eight-year-old girl in Kathua district of Jammu region earlier this year.
The specially-abled members, including women, were carrying placards that read: ‘Qatiloon Ko Phansi Do’.
They marched through Kupwara town and later converged in front of Kupwara Deputy Commissioner’s office before dispersing off peacefully.
