Khawaja Hanif’s demise condoled

People from different walks of life have condoled the demise of Khawaja Hanif, father of editor Shaherbeen, Radio Kashmir, Khawaja Maqsood Ahmad.

On Monday people from different walks of life offeredcondolence to the bereaved family at their ancestral village of Garkote in Uritehsil of Baramulla district.

   

Khawaja Hanif passed away on Sunday after a brief illness.He was 85.

Peoples Conference leaders Sajad Lone, Abdul Gani Vakil andImran Ansari have condoled demise and expressed solidarity with Maqsood Ahmad.Former speaker and chairman rural development society Mubarak Gul, chairman RDSnorth Kashmir Khawaja Muhammad Shafi and district chairman Baramulla AbdulMajeed Akhoon have expressed profound grief over the demise.

Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) has also condoled thedemise of Khawaja Muhammad Hanif. Expressing grief over the death, DAKPresident Dr Nisar ul Hassan described the deceased as a noble soul who alwayshelped poor and needy. Noted broadcaster Fayyaz Ahmad Fayyaz has also offeredhis condolences to the bereaved family saying the deceased would always workfor underprivileged and downtrodden.

Karnah Civil Society president Peerzada Sirajuddin Qureshihas also expressed greif over the demise of Khawaja Hanif and offered sympathyto bereaved family.
