Roads and Buildings minister Naeem Akhtar had condemned the killing of four policemen in and IED blast in Sopore on Saturday.
“A few years back we wouldn’t see such a widespread condemnation, but today it was heartening to see people across the board condemning this incident especially on social media platforms,” Akhtar said.
“Any killing of innocent persons adds to commotion and madness created by some of the recent statements made by world leaders claiming to be in possession of nuclear armament.
Some world leaders say they have hydrogen bombs and some claim they have atomic bombs.
It is the madness of world leaders and we people increase this madness by killing our own innocent people, adding our story to this big tragedy,” he said.
