Kashmir Tehreek Khawateen (KTK) members staged a protest demanding immediate release of Kashmiri political prisoners languishing in jails within and outside the state.
The women activists of separatist groups led by KTK Chairman Zamrooda Habib appeared at Press Enclave here and raised pro-freedom slogans.
"We are protesting to draw the attention of the international community to solve the Kashmir dispute," they said.
She termed the detention of youth and political leaders including Masarat Aalam, as 'illegal'. She appealed international community to use their good offices to pave the release of these detained political prisoners.
Zamrooda also tried to vandalize foundation stone of multi-level parking at Press Enclave here, barely few hours after Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti laid it.
She along with her few party activists appeared at the place saying "Why Mehbooba Mufti has laid this foundation? This government has has killed our innocent youth, blinded school going children," she added.
