The District Hospital Kulgam lacks facilities for attendants and is without proper parking space.
Locals said that people attending the indoor patients have no place to sit in the hospital lawn.
“The hospital does not have a proper resting shelter where the attendants could sit or have their meals,” said Mushtaq Ahmad.
He said that there was no Sarai for the attendants where they could spend the night.
“In this cold, they have to spend the night in the open,” said Riyaz Ahmad, a local.
Locals said that the hospital also did not have a proper parking space.
“Most of the people park their vehicles right outside the main gate, causing inconvenience to the patients,” they said.
