A complete shutdown is being observed in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Monday against the killings of three militants in a gunfight with the forces yesterday.
All shops and other commercial establishments are closed while traffic is off the roads.
Three militants, a senior police officer and a soldier were killed in a fierce gunfight in Turigam village yesterday.
One of the slain militants has been identified as Rakib Ahmad Sheikh of Shungipora.
