After the Kupwara encounter that claimed ten lives– five forces personnel and five militants, three major security review meetings were held to frame and fine tune the security strategy.
Just a day after the Kupwara encounter, GoC of army’s 15 Corps Lt General A K Bhat convened a high level security meet at Phoruphet where IGP Kashmir S P Pani and many other army and police officers participated.
A review meet was also held in New Delhi by the top officials of MHA to review security in the backdrop of Kupwara encounter.
And the latest was today at SKICC which was chaired by Union Home Secretary Rajiv Gauba which also discussed Kupwaraoperation and other security issues.
