A landslide hit the Kangan-Babanagri-Wangat road at Panzla, Kangan area of Ganderbal, disrupting pedestrian and vehicular traffic movement on the road.
The landslide prompted the local administration to advise the people in Wangth , Babanagri, Kachnambal and adjoining areas of Kangan to avoid this road. Sub-divisional magistrate Mehraj-ud-din Shah told Greater Kashmir that the authorities concerned have been asked to clear the debris off the road.
“People are requested to co-operate with the administration and take all necessary precautions to safeguard their life and property,” he said.
