Lawyers Club of Kashmir Wednesday said that, "death toll is surely expected to rise as scores of injured youth admitted in different hospitals are critical and dozens of them are on ventilators."
President Lawyers Club of Kashmir Advocate Babar Qadri informed CNS that a group of lawyers visited different hospitals to enquire about the well-being of the injured youth.
"There are 58 injured youth who have either received bullets or pellets admitted in Bones and Joint Hospital Barzulla. The number of youth with bullet and pellet injuries admitted at District Hospital Anantnag is 350. All but 90 youth with pellet injuries are being treated at SMHS hospital Srinagar while in the same hospital 150 youth have received bullets and are under observation," Qadri said.
