A leopard killed livestock in Khaipora village in Khansahab area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district late Monday night.
Locals said that the leopard killed seven sheep and three lambs when it entered into the cattle shed of one Muhammad Ismail Sheikh. The villagers said that they had asked the Wildlife Department to trap the leopard and said that wild animals often stray into the nearby hamlets and kill livestock.
