A boy was mauled to death by a leopard in Khag area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district last night.
A wildlife official said that four-year-old Aamir Ahmad was attacked by the leopard in the courtyard of his house located near woods in Sitaharan area around 8:45 pm.
Ahmad was rushed to primary health centre Khag for treatment where he was declared dead on arrival, he said.
The official said that they have set traps in the area to catch the leopard.
